OU lands new WR commit

The Oklahoma Sooners got an early boost in their 2027 recruiting class with a commitment from consensus four-star wide receiver Demare Dezeurn from Palisades High School in California.

Dezeurn is undersized at only 5-foot-10, but he has elite speed as one of the best high school track athletes in California. According to the 247Sports Composite, Dezeurn is the No. 17 wide receiver in the 2027 class and No. 95 overall prospect in the country.

More recruiting news on the way

Dezeurn's pledge likely just opened the floodgates for the Sooners' 2027 recruiting class after Brent Venables & Co. impressed a long list of visitors when they handled Michigan 24-13 on Saturday night.

Most notably, the Sooners were predicted to land their top QB target, consensus four-star Peyton Houston, who will announce his commitment on Monday morning. Houston and Dezeurn were both in Norman on Saturday for unofficial visits.

Sarkisian roasted for Manning bathroom comments

Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian had an insane quote that went viral for the worst reasons.

Quarterback Arch Manning was seen grimacing Saturday during Texas' win against San Jose State and many believed he was in pain. Sarkisian was asked if Manning is injured during his weekly press conference, and instead of just denying it and moving on, he uttered one of the most off-the-wall quotes of the early season.

“I’ve never filmed any of you guys when you’re using the restroom. So, I don’t know what faces you make when you’re doing that," Sarkisian said.

The comments went viral and college football fans roasted Sark.
