Every former Sooner on an NFL roster at the start of 2025 training camp

This list never ends.

NFL Training Camp is in full swing across the league and there are former Oklahoma Sooners all over the place, either as franchise players, incoming rookies or just trying to finally secure a roster spot. This list is as long as a Walgreens receipt, but here's every former OU player on an NFL roster at the start of training camp and their outlook for the 2025 season.

NFL Training Camp loaded with former Oklahoma players

Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens

Entering the final year of his contract, Mark Andrews could be on the trading block in 2025, but if he does finish the season with the Ravens, he'll be part of a team that could find itself on a Super Bowl run with one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. And as one of the best tight ends in the league, the Ravens probably need Andrews to finally reach that mountain top.

Brian Asamoah II, LB, Minnesota Vikings

Asamoah is entering his fourth year with Vikings and played in every game last season, mostly on special teams. He also made his NFL Playoffs debut last season.

Nik Bonitto, LB, Denver Broncos

After a breakout campaign and making his first Pro Bowl last year, Bonitto could emerge as one of the best defenders in the entire league in 2025.

Billy Bowman Jr., DB, Atlanta Falcons

Bowman just joined the Flacons as their fourth-round draft pick, but he's already reportedly earning first-team reps in a nickel corner role during training camp. Bowman will not only see the field as a rookie, but could even start.

Hollywood Brown, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Brown is heading into his seventh year in the NFL and second with the Chiefs after getting to play in the Super Bowl for the first time last season. He hasn't been able to practice yet, though, because of an injury.

Orlando Brown Jr., OT, Cincinnati Bengals

Brown had a rough 2024 after fracturing his fibula Week 7. He's back now, though, and the Bengals need him protecting Joe Burrow to have any chance at a playoff run.

Tre Brown, CB, San Francisco 49ers

This will be Brown's first season with the 49ers after spending the last four years with the Seattle Seahawks.

Ethan Downs, DL, Jacksonville Jaguars

Despite a solid NFL Combine showing, Downs went undrafted before signing with the Jaguars. Now, he has the uphill battle of getting a roster spot as an undrafted free agent.

Cody Ford, OL, Cincinnati Bengals

Ford was listed as the backup right guard on the Bengals' first preseason depth chart in Ford's third year with the organization.

Trace Ford, LB, New York Giants

Ford signed with the Giants as undrafted free agent this offseason and will likely end up on the team's practice squad.

Neville Gallimore, NT, Indianapolis Colts

Gallimore signed with the Colts this offseason after spending time between the Rams and Dolphins last year. Despite spending time on a practice squad last season, many expect Gallimore to actually contribute for the Colts.

Eric Gray, RB, New York Giants

Gray started training camp on the PUP list, which does not bode well for a player whose roster spot was already slipping away in a now crowded running back room.

Tyler Guyton, OL, Dallas Cowboys

Guyton's preseason started with an injury. Initially feared to be a torn ACL, the injury wasn't as bad as expected, but he'll still miss 4-6 weeks with a bone fracture. The Cowboys need Guyton back healthy and on the field to not be as bad as some predict for this season.

Anton Harrison, OL, Jacksonville Jaguars

A former first-round pick, Harrison has been playing both tackle spots during training camp under first-year head coach Liam Coen. He has usually just played on the right side his last two seasons, but the Jaguars are seeing if he can now do both while dealing with injuries at the position.

Creed Humphrey, OL, Kansas City Chiefs

Humphrey is probably the best center in the NFL and finally debuted in the NFL Top 100 Players list at No. 93.

Jalen Hurts, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

That's now Super Bowl-winning quarterback Jalen Hurts. And after elevating his game to a new level as Super Bowl MVP, Hurts should be an early NFL MVP candidate with a great shot at getting back to the Super Bowl.

Tony Jefferson, S, Los Angeles Chargers

An 11-year veteran, Jefferson is on the chopping block, but showed during the only preseason game so far that he still has it with a solid performance that was capped by an incredible interception. He still might have more to prove, though.

Lane Johnson, OL, Philadelphia Eagles

Johnson is the best tackle in the league and now a two-time Super Bowl champion. Enjoy it, though, because Johnson's career could be winding down soon.

CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys

An injury slowed Lamb down in 2024, but he should reassert himself this season as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.

Jonah Laulu, DT, Las Vegas Raiders

After getting drafted in the seventh round last year, the Colts waived Laulu during training camp before the Raiders scooped him up. Now, it looks like Laulu could actually contribute this season for the Raiders.

Baker Mayfield, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield is back. Mayfield has made the Pro Bowl the last two seasons and was just named the 50th-best player in the NFL. With Mayfield leading the way, the Bucs should run away with their division and have the chance to make a run to the Super Bowl.

Marvin Mims Jr., WR, Denver Broncos

Mims just had a breakout season as both a receiver and a return man. He was First-Team All Pro as a return man, but this season, he should also emerge as one of the most dynamic receivers in the league after some big plays last year.

Joe Mixon, RB, Houston Texans

Mixon just went back to the Pro Bowl in his first season with the Texans and he's still one of the rare bell cows in the NFL.

Wanya Morris, OL, Kansas City Chiefs

Morris is fighting for a starting job after being listed as a backup on the Chiefs' first depth chart. Regardless, he'll make an impact this season.

Kenneth Murray Jr., LB, Dallas Cowboys

Murray was just traded to the Cowboys from the Titans over the offseason. Dallas is his third stop in just six years, but he's projected to crack the Cowboys' starting lineup.

Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals

Murray is one of three starting quarterbacks on this list as the Cardinals' franchise QB for esven years now. At this point, the biggest question for Murray is if he can stay healthy a full season.

Ogbo Okoronkwo, DE, Philadelphia Eagles

Okoronkwo joined the defending Super Bowl champions and a stacked defense after signing late in the offseason on the same day the Eagles reported to training camp. Now he'll have to adjust on the fly with the hopes of contributing for a Super Bowl contender.

Samaje Perine, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

Perine keeps bouncing around, now at the seventh stop of his nine-year career. And this is his third time with the Bengals.

Ben Powers, OL, Denver Broncos

Powers started every game last season for the Broncos, but this is the final year of his contract so likely his last season in Denver.

Jalen Redmond, DL, Minnesota Vikings

Redmond spent time on both the Vikings' practice squad and active roster last year after spending time with Bob Stoops on the UFL's Arlington Renegades. He'll once again have to fight for a roster spot.

Tyrese Robinson, OL, New England Patriots

Robinson has been part of four different teams in four years, but the Patriots last year were the first to add him to the active roster. He still has more battling to do, though, to stick around.

Walter Rouse, OL, Minnesota Vikings

Rouse played in just one game last season as a rookie, but it seems he still has a solid chance to stick at Minnesota.

Sterling Shepard, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Shepard is in Tampa catching passes from Baker Mayfield while entering an impressive 10th season in the NFL. However, rookie Emeka Egbuka has buried Shepard further down the depth chart.

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, New England Patriots

Stevenson was demoted last season because of fumbling issues, but he'll get another shot this year to be the Patriots' No. 1 running back.

Drake Stoops, WR, Los Angeles Rams

Stoops is still fighting for a spot with the Rams, but he'll also have to serve a two-game PED suspension before any chance of contributing.

Danny Stutsman, LB, New Orleans Saints

A fan-favorite of Sooner Nation, Stutsman is now making noise as a rookie in New Orleans after getting drafted in the fourth round. He's got a roster spot, but now he's competing for playing time.

Michael Tarquin, OL, Carolina Panthers

Tarquin signed with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent, but his chances of seeing the field as a rookie are extremely slim.

Isaiah Thomas, DE, Cincinnati Bengals

Thomas had two different stints with the Bengals last year, but he's back in Cincinnati again battling for a roster spot.

Delarrin Turner-Yell, S, Denver Broncos

Turner-Yell missed all of last season with a knee injury, but now healthy, he should be back on the 53-man roster.

Tress Way, P, Washington Commanders

Way has become an NFL staple entering his 13th pro season. He's appeared in every game of every season with Washington since 2014.

Trent Williams, OL, San Francisco 49ers

The only offensive tackle in the NFL that might be better than Lane Johnson is fellow Sooner Trent Williams, who's entering his 16th (!!!) season as an 11-time Pro Bowler. His season was cut short last year because of an ankle injury, which dropped him from No. 7 to No. 45 on the NFL Top 100 Players.

Brayden Willis, TE, San Francisco 49ers

Willis finally made the 49ers' active roster last year, and then re-signed with them this offseason. Now if he can just get on the field with the offense and catch his first career pass.

James Winchester, LS, Kansas City Chiefs

Super Bowl regular James Winchester. Winchester appeared in his fifth Super Bowl last season, the most ever by a former Sooner or any long snapper. And there's still a solid chance he gets a sixth Super Bowl trip with Kansas City.
