The Oklahoma Sooners rapidly built their 2027 recruiting class to be one of the best in the country with 21 commits so far, but they're not finished yet.
Official visit season begins at the end of the month to turn up the heat on the recruiting trail throughout the summer. Although the Sooners have shifted a great deal of focus already to their 2028 class, which is still needing its first commit, the next few weeks will also still include more growth to the 2027 group as prospects visit Norman every weekend starting May 29 and until the end of June.
Many recruits that will be on campus soon have already pledged to the Sooners, but some could still be late additions to OU's 2027 class.
Gideon Gash
Gideon Gash, a four-star athlete, seemed destined to join his two older brothers at Michigan State and was even predicted by multiple recruiting experts to be a Spartan, but that doesn't seem as likely now.
It was reported by Rivals' Allen Trieu just two weeks ago that Gash has scheduled three official visits to OU on June 12, Texas Tech on June 5 and Alabama on June 19. He'll be in Norman during OU's Champ U BBQ recruiting event, which sets up the Sooners nicely to make enough of an impression to get a commitment.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Gash is the No. 5 athlete in the 2027 class and No. 70 overall player with the ability to play both cornerback and wide receiver at the college level. He would likely play corner for the Sooners and would add insane length to the secondary at 6-foot-4.

Ben Kolar
Ben Kolar could be tight ends coach Jason Witten's next big get since joining the staff over the offseason.
Witten didn't have to go far at all to find Kolar, who's from Norman North High School. Kolar's two older brothers were also Power Four athletes that came from Norman, but neither were offered by the Sooners. Now, Ben could finally be the first Kolar brother to play for his hometown Sooners.
Kolar has an official visit to OU scheduled for June 3. He will also take trips to to Stanford on May 29, Tennessee on June 11 and Auburn on June 19. According to the 247Sports Composite, he's the No. 26 tight end in the class as a three-star prospect.

TJ Lewis
Just a few days after three-star running back Jaxsen Stokes flipped his commitment from OU to in-state Cal, the Sooners extended an offer to three-star TJ Lewis late last month as a possible replacement at the position.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Lewis is the No. 42 running back in the class. He already took an official visit to in-state Illinois last month and still has trips ahead to Michigan, Kansas and Indiana. Lewis doesn't have a visit to Norman planned yet, but after a late offer, the longer Lewis' recruitment is drawn out, the better for the Sooners. And there's no reason to doubt OU general manager Jim Nagy can't win Lewis over quick.

Bode Sparrow
The Sooners have been expecting a commitment from four-star athlete Bode Sparrow for quite some time now. Rivals' Greg Biggins even logged an expert prediction for Sparrow to be a Sooner in early April and so had other recruiting experts even before that.
Sparrow is the No. 4 athlete in the class, according to the 247Sports Composite, while listed as a wide receiver and safety. He's also the No. 69 prospect in the class and top player in the state of Utah. Sparrow, listed at 6-foot-2, is expected to play safety at OU.
Sparrow was just in Norman last month but will be back for an official visit on May 29. A decision still might not come then, though, with trips still planned to in-state Utah and BYU during June. However, it still seems like the only question surrounding Sparrow is when he'll commit to OU, not if.

Bryce Williams
The Sooners just got into the mix for four-star cornerback Bryce Williams last week. Despite the late entry, though, OU has already risen to the top of Williams' list and is in a reported two-team race with Nebraska to land him.
Williams will be in Norman on May 29 for his first visit to OU after the coaching staff has made multiple visits to him. He will also visit Nebraska on June 5, so who gets Williams could come down to those two back-to-back weekends.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Williams is the No. 36 cornerback in the class as a consensus four-star recruit.
