The Oklahoma Sooners should be finished with their 2026 Transfer Portal class after landing 16 new players, but not all will make the same kind of impact during the 2026 season, if any at all.
Here are the most likely transfers to make an immediate impact in 2026 and ranking them by how great that impact will be.
Hayden Hansen will immediately come in and start at tight end with 37 career games worth of SEC experience already, including 34 starts and 25 in a row the last two seasons for Florida. Although his receiving stats don't pop out with all career-highs of 30 catches, 254 yards and two touchdowns last season, Hansen will be a monster addition to the running game to block on the edge, which the Sooners were missing in 2025.
When the Sooners went looking in the Transfer Portal for offensive line depth, they got more than what they were even asking for with E'Marion Harris. After four years at Arkansas, which included 24 starts, Harris will spend his final year of eligibility at OU. Harris is expected to play offensive tackle for the Sooners, and he could even start there Week 1 and give the Sooners the option to move Ryan Fodje to guard. Even if Harris doesn't start, though, the Sooners couldn't have asked for a more experienced depth piece and will definitely need his versatility throughout the season.
Although Hayden Hansen could get more snaps than Rocky Beers at tight end, Beers' impact will be a lot more obvious because of his ability in the passing game. Beers, listed at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds, set the Colorado State single-season record for most touchdowns by a tight end with seven, while also catching 31 passes for 388 yards. Now, John Mateer gets that towering target in the end zone.
Although Texas transfer Parker Livingstone made the most noise when he was added from the portal, Trell Harris was the best offensive addition the Sooners landed this cycle. Harris was Third-Team All-ACC in 2025 after leading Virginia with 59 receptions, 847 receiving yards and five TDs. He does all that damage with his speed, similar to Isaiah Sategna III, so defenses will have fits deciding which one to keep the closest eye on. Don't be surprised if Harris leads the Sooners in receiving yards in 2026.
Cole Sullivan was the Sooners' best addition to the defensive side of the ball from the portal to fill a massive void at linebacker. Sullivan will likely be the heartbeat of Brent Venables' defense in 2026 as the starting middle linebacker, which also puts him in position to lead the Sooners in tackles.
