The Oklahoma women's basketball team gets going right off the bat this week without a Sunday game.

The No. 15 Sooners will host Auburn on Monday night at Lloyd Noble Center after playing just one game last week.

How to watch

Need to know

The Sooners can get back above .500 in SEC play with a win Monday night after a tough stretch in January and into early Fenruary. OU played three top-15 teams within four games before beating unranked Ole Miss last week.

Despite the gauntlet, the Sooners have still won enough at 17-6 to remain inside the top 15 and stay comfortable in NCAA Tournament projections.

The SEC has been tougher on Auburn at 12-11 overall and 3-7 in conference play. The Tigers are coming off a win, though, against Texas A&M, 65-52.

OU is also coming off a win while looking to put together a winning streak with its easiest part of the schedule here. With Vanderbilt and Alabama just barely inside the top 25, there's a chance the Sooners don't play another ranked team during the regular season if those teams slip up.

The Sooners should also be at full strength again Monday night. Leading scorer Raegan Beers didn't play last week because of an illness. The center is averaging 16.9 points and 8.9 rebounds a game, and should be back.

There are other weapons around Beers, too, with Payton Verhulst emerging as a potent second punch averaging 15 points a game.

After Auburn, OU will travel to Missouri on Sunday.
