For the first time since the beginning of the month, the Oklahoma men's basketball team will go into its final game of February coming off a win.
After upsetting then-No. 21 Mississippi State on Saturday at Lloyd Noble Center, the Sooners will now host the No. 17 Kentucky Wildcats on Wednesday night.

The Sooners finally snapped a five-game losing streak with their upset win over then-No. 21 Mississippi State on Saturday in Norman.
The win got OU back in the win column and back on the NCAA Tournament bubble. One more win, especially over the likes of a top-20 Blue Blood program like Kentucky, could send the Sooners dancing for the first time in four seasons under Porter Moser.
And with the way things have went for the Sooners, another loss, even this late in the season, still might not even pop their bubble again.
The Sooners have four games left in the regular season, including Kentucky. All four upcoming opponents are projected to make the NCAA Tournament, as the SEC has 13 teams predicted to get in. That's a lot of opportunities for OU to punch its ticket with another win, or maybe even two to be sure.
Although the month hasn't been as brutal as it has been for OU, Kentucky has been inconsistent in February. The Wildcats have went 3-4 this month and are coming off a 96-83 loss to No. 4 Alabama.
Kentucky is led by former Sooner Otega Oweh, who averages 15.7 points a game, while Jalon Moore leads the Sooners at 17 points a game.
Freshman Jeremiah Fears has also hit his stride, putting up 22 and 27 points in last week's games while earning SEC Newcomer of the Week honors. He averages 15.9 this season.
