It seems unlikely the Oklahoma Sooners can take down mighty Alabama, but they said that last year, too.
The No. 11 Sooners will make their final road trip of the season to Tuscaloosa to play the No. 4 Crimson Tide in an afternoon matchup that was worthy of primetime. OU's College Football Playoff hopes rest on this game against Alabama, but last season, it was the Crimson Tide who just narrowly missed the playoff thanks to an upset to the Sooners in Norman. So now, Alabama can return the favor on its home field.
Alabama seems pretty secure in the CFP race this time at 8-1 as a top-5 squad, so even a loss Saturday wouldn't kill the Crimson Tide's season. For the Sooners, though, they're just on the outside looking in at 7-2 and need to win out for a chance to slip into the CFP.

Who are the announcers for Oklahoma vs. Alabama?
OU fans were not happy to learn of the broadcast crew and will still be unhappy to hear on Saturday. This will be the Sooners' second trip to Tuscaloosa. OU beat Alabama 20-13 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2003, when OU head coach Brent Venables was the Sooners' defensive coordinator.
