April is the time for goodbyes in college basketball.

Even without transfer portal losses, the Oklahoma men's basketball program already lost eight players from last season's roster who exhausted their eligibility, plus star freshman Jeremiah Fears, who declared for the NBA Draft.

The portal then took four more players from Porter Moser so far. Here's a look at every player to enter the transfer portal so far from the Sooners.

Tracking Sooners in college basketball transfer portal

Yaya Keita, a 6-foot-9 redshirt junior forward, was the first OU player to enter the transfer portal once it opened. He didn't record a single stat this past season after appearing in only 11 games last year and redshirting the season before that.

This is Keita's second time in the portal after transferring to OU from Missouri in 2022.

Luke Northweather entered the portal at the same time as Keita. He'll only be considered a big loss because of his size as a 6-foot-11 redshirt sophomore.

However, Northweather didn't contribute much this season. He averaged 2.7 points and 1.5 rebounds this season and played a season-high 22 minutes in the Sooners' win against Texas in their regular-season finale with Sam Godwin injured.

Multiple reports Sunday night said Northweather will stay in the SEC to play at Missouri, his home state.

Jacolb Fredson-Cole, a 6-foot-7 forward, had a lot of promise as a former four-star recruit, but never saw the court much at OU. He redshirted last year, then appeared in only 15 games this season.

In those 15 games, Fredson-Cole totaled 13 points and 12 rebounds.

After a break from portal losses, Duke Miles became the first starter and guard the Sooners lost this offseason. Somehow, Miles apparently still has eligibility left as a redshirt senior with five seasons under his belt.

Last season, Miles started every game for the Sooners, averaging 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, two assists and 1.4 steals.

Miles got to OU just last year after transferring from High Point. He also spent his first three seasons at Troy. Other than when he redshirted, Miles has never played less than 17 games in a season.
