Oklahoma offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh is on track to assemble an entire elite front of the future with only one recruiting class.

With four offensive linemen from the 2027 class already committed to the Sooners, Rivals' Steve Wiltfong this week logged an expert prediction with 60% confidence for four-star interior offensive lineman Gus Corsair to also commit to OU.

Gus Corsair predicted to be Sooners' 5th 2027 offensive line commit

Corsair has spent a lot of time with OU's coaching staff recently. According to Rivals, he's had 10 total visits to Oklahoma during his recruitment process. Corsair was just in Norman last weekend during the Sooners' Future Freaks Junior Day recruiting event that ultimately resulted in a whopping five commitments for the Sooners.

During this past season, Corsair visited OU twice for games, and then returned on Jan. 31 with OU offensive line commits Cooper Hackett, Kaeden Penny, Luke Wilson and Tyson Ross, who's also from Kansas and just committed over the weekend. The group took what could be a picture of the Sooners' future offensive line since Corsair is now the only one of the bunch who has not committed yet.

Last month, Corsair narrowed his options down to seven, including Oklahoma, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Nebraska, Miami, Oregon and in-state Kansas State. He has a visit scheduled to every school during this spring, with OU being his first stop. That also means that although Corsair is predicted to be a Sooner, it might not become official until after his college tour in April.

Corsair's list of offers also included Auburn, Arkansas, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Oklahoma State and more.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Corsair, listed at 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds, is the No. 15 interior offensive lineman in the 2027 class and top prospect in the state of Kansas out of Hays High School. Ross is the No. 4 player in Kansas.

Bedenbaugh has already made a name for himself as a recruiter with the Sooners, but 2027 is looking to be his best work yet. Corsair would be the fifth offensive line addition from the class and third-highest rated OL commit behind five-stars Hackett and Penny. That offensive line haul is also a massive reason why the Sooners already have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country with 19 total commits.
