Douglas Miles

Douglas Miles is an Oklahoma native who has worked in sports journalism in eastern Iowa since 2006. Douglas currently serves as a correspondent for the high school sports website Your Prep Sports and for print publications such as The Waterloo Courier (Waterloo, Iowa) and The News (Kalona, Iowa). Prior to that, Douglas spent nearly a decade providing award-winning coverage for The Gazette newspaper in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he covered University of Iowa/Iowa State University athletics and a variety of sports at the high school, amateur, small college, and minor league professional levels. Douglas has also had bylines published by The Oklahoman (Oklahoma City, Okla.), Telegraph Herald (Dubuque, Iowa), The Philadelphia Inquirer (Philadelphia, Pa.), and the official site of Minor League Baseball.
