The last time ESPN College GameDay was in Oklahoma when the Sooners hosted Michigan earlier this season, Norman native and OU basketball great Trae Young joined the cast as the show's celebrity guest picker. College GameDay will be back in Norman for a unique evening show on Friday before the No. 8 Sooners play No. 9 Alabama for a rematch in the first round of the College Football Playoff, so once again, there's a list of three Sooners who seem to be most likely to be at the desk to help make predictions this time.
Baker Mayfield
Baker Mayfield is the top option among Sooner Nation, especially before a massive playoff game, and although he's been a guest picker before, it's hard to pull off during football season with his schedule as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' quarterback. However, with this game being on Friday instead of Saturday, and likely no practice on Saturday for him, that gives Mayfield an extra day before he plays the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, so it's actually possible for Mayfield to be in Norman on Friday night.

Bob Stoops
Fresh off announcing his retirement, legendary coach Bob Stoops has extra time to be on TV, and it's a guaranatee he'll already be on campus for the game anyway. It would also be fitting to have Stoops on stage as the last coach to lead the Sooners to a national title thanks to an elite defense led by Brent Venables. Stoops also has his own success against Bama in the postseason, so hopefully that would come up while sitting next to Nick Saban.
Brian Bosworth
Former OU linebacker Brian Bosworth likely won't miss a game of this magnitude. The Boz would be the perfect polarizing figure to have before such a historical game that will be a defensive battle. Predictions during the show will happen inside Memorial Stadium, so there's not a better person to get The Palace rocking right before kickoff as The Boz proclaims why the Sooners will beat the Crimson Tide (again).
