Oklahoma is 10-1 since TCU joined the Big 12 in 2012. That one loss, however, was in a game at TCU in 2014. The Sooners lost that one 37-33. TCU was picked to finish 7th in the annual Big 12 Preseason Media Poll, but that won’t matter when the Sooners travel to Ft. Worth, Texas, in early October because Oklahoma will always have a target on its back as a 14-time Big 12 champion.

Like the Sooners, the Horned Frogs also have a new head coach this season. Sonny Dykes takes over for longtime TCU head coach Gary Patterson. The Horned Frogs also gained a former Oklahoma quarterback, Chandler Morris through the transfer portal.

TCU returns seven starters on offense and eight on defense, so the Frogs have a lot of experience coming back this season and should be a formidable foe for Oklahoma.
