Parker Livingstone is going to start putting horns in the opposite direction.
ESPN's Pete Thamel reported on Tuesday that Livingstone, a top transfer wide receiver from Texas, committed to the Oklahoma Sooners with three seasons of eligibility left. He took visits to OU and Indiana before ultimately deciding to cross the Red River.
Parker Livingstone commits to Sooners out of Transfer Portal
That second Saturday in October will mean even more than true Oklahomans for Livingstone when he'll be wearing crimson this time during the Red River Rivalry. The Longhorns all but ran him out of Texas and into the Transfer Portal, so he'll have more motivation than anyone to wear that golden hat.
"Never in a million years did I think I would be going into the portal looking for a new home," Livingstone wrote in his transfer announcement. "Some things are out of my control. Such is the reality of the ever-changing landscape of college football. Emptied my tank every day for this great university, my teammates & all of the good folks of Texas. Grateful."
It was a surprise the Longhorns didn't do all they could to keep the 6-foot-4 Livingstone paired with quarterback Arch Manning. At only 19 years old, Livingstone was third on the team with 29 catches for 516 yards this season as a freshman, plus six touchdowns, which was second on the team. He had two multi-TD games and surpassed 100 receiving yards twice.

Here’s a look at #Sooners wide receiver addition Parker Livingstone, who should have a significant role in this offense. In 2025 at Texas, he posted:

This was the second time the Sooners tried to get Livingstone to Oklahoma, as they were among his top schools before he chose to stay in his home state out of Lucas, Texas. According to the 247Sports Composite, Livingstone was a four-star recruit and No. 46 wide receiver in the 2024 class. As a transfer, 247Sports ranked Livingstone as the No. 16 receiver available in the portal this cycle.
The Sooners have added two top-20 receivers out of the portal so far after Virginia's Trell Harris committed on Monday. While Livingstone has the size and knack for making highlight catches, Harris has the speed for big plays as a Third-Team All-ACC selection in 2025 and the No. 9 receiver in the portal, based on On3's rankings.
