Oklahoma head coach Porter Moser went for scoring and shooting efficiency in bringing in transfers and freshman recruits in building his 2024-25 roster, while looking for more length with the signing of the Sooners' 2025 recruiting class.

Recognizing that Oklahoma will lose some length after this season with the departures of forwards Sam Godwin and Jalon Moore along with 6-foot, 10-inch Alabama transfer Mohamed Wague, Moser signed 6-foot, 10-inch Kai Rogers out of Atlanta, Georgia, and 7-footer Andreas Holst from Denmark.

Also joining the Sooners' 2025 recruiting class is 6-foot, 7-inch small forward Alec Blair from Concord, California. Blair is a two-sport star and will also play baseball at Oklahoma, which brings back thoughts of former OU basketball All-American Ryan Minor, who also played baseball while starring in basketball at OU.

Originally from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, a suburb west of Milwaukee, Rogers, a four-star recruit with a 7-foot, 4-inch wing span, averaged 20 points, 13.6 rebounds and 4.3 blocks his junior high school year. Instead of playing high school ball as a senior. Rogers joined the Cold Hearts team of the Atlanta-based Overtime Elite league.

Moser went overseas for the 7-foot Holst, who played for the Denmark national team 2024 FIBA U18 Championship. The OU head coach like the Dane for more than just his size and length. "He can knock down threes, he's athletic, he's mobile and he can run," Moser told reporters this week. "He's way above the rim, and he's just unique as a 7-foot wing."

Blair is a four-star recruit who is ranked No. 9 at his position and No. 49 nationally by 247Sports. He averaged 19.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists as a junior at De La Salle High School in Northern California. He also led his team in points and rebounds his freshman and sophormore seasons.

Moser's 2024-25 Sooner team plays Stetson on Saturday at Lloyd Noble Center.
