Sooner Nation kept all the receipts.
During the season, the Tennessee Volunteers took two of three from the Oklahoma Sooners in Norman to hand OU its first SEC series loss since joining the conference. The Vols stole the first game in eight innings, then after OU rebounded in Game 2, Tennessee won the rubber match 5-3.
The Vols then celebrated as if they had just won a game down the road at Devon Park, not Love's Field. They believed they had given OU an SEC reality check, but this was just a dream scenario for the Vols. And Sooner Nation took notes and made bookmarks, knowing they'd likely meet again in the postseason during the SEC Softball Tournament or Women's College World Series.
Noted.

Did you win the natty today? Figured you did based off of that celebration

This is so embarrassing lmao. Genuinely. Congrats on a series win in March. You won’t be in the natty though 🫢

OU fans remind Tennessee of regrettable post after revenge
The post got well over 100 bookmarks as it went viral among the wrong fan base.
The Sooners then proceeded to win the SEC regular-season championship and were deemed co-champs of the SEC Softball Tournament. Tennessee, meanwhile, finished fourth in SEC standings and lost its first game of the SEC Tournament to Arkansas, which OU beat the next round.
Then there was finally a chance for revenge after already getting some against Alabama the weekend before in Super Regionals. As four-time defending national champions, the Sooners are at their best in May and June, not in March.
Tennessee led OU 3-1 in the first round of the WCWS on Thursday, assuming it apparently just had the Sooners' number this year. Then, as the Vols put it, OU gutted them.
Ella Parker hit a walk-off three-run home run with one out left to give OU the 4-3 win and sweet revenge, while Tennessee again lost its first game of a postseason tournament and dropped down to the losers bracket.
And Sooner Nation had the receipts ready after getting the last laugh when things mattered most.

Poor Tennessee, where they don't teach capitalization, was gutted.
