Like we do when anything important happens, we go to social media, including when Oklahoma hires a new offensive coordinator.

Brent Venables on Monday announced Ben Arbuckle as the Sooners' new offensive coordinator. Fans, pundits, those within the program and more went to X to share their reactions of the news, and here's the best that we saw through Monday night.

First, is Emmett Jones more excited about Arbuckle coming or that Venables said he gets to keep his job as wide receivers coach?

Obviously we had to ask how everyone was feeling about the hire.

I can't decide if this is a good or bad thing. (John Mateer is Washington State's QB, by the way.)

A reminder that Arbuckle is only 29.
