While a Sooner for three seasons, Alvan Adams (1972-75), averaging 23.4 points per game and 12.8 rebounds. He led the Big Eight in scoring two seasons in a row (1972-73 and 1973-74) and in rebounds in 1974-75 and was the Big Eight Player of the Year in 1975. Adams was the fourth overall pick in 1975 of the Phoenix Suns, the team he spent 13 seasons with. He averaged 14.1 pounds and 7.0 rebounds in his 13 NBA seasons.
