Porter Moser got another package deal for the Oklahoma men's basketball team.
Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reported Monday that Moser is expected to hire Saint Joseph's associate head coach Justin Scott as an assistant at OU. And Scott is expected to bring reinforcements with him in his stepson Xzayvier Brown.
Several other outlets also confirmed the news.

The expectation is that Xzayvier Brown — who entered the transfer portal today — will follow Scott to Norman.
Brown averaged 17.6 PPG, 5.2 RPG, and 4.3 APG for St. Joe’s.
Sooners hiring Justin Scott, bringing point guard Xzayvier Brown to OU with him
Brown will be the most noticeable addition from this deal when next season tips off. He averaged 17.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists last season as a sophomore point guard. He's also a career 37.6% career 3-point shooter.
Brown entered the transfer portal on Monday with a "do not contact" tag, meaning he already had his next destination in mind.
The Sooners likely found their next starting point guard in Brown to replace Jeremiah Fears, who entered the NBA Draft after just one season at OU. The addition also gave OU two new options at the point.
The last 2-for-1 deal Moser got was Nijel Pack, a point guard from Miami (FL). Pack filled two of OU's needs for a point guard and a shooter. However, with Brown now in the mix, Pack will probably move to the two spot, giving the Sooners two great ball handlers on the court and Pack more opportunities to shoot from deep.
The Sooners also added former Notre Dame forward Tae Davis from the transfer portal this offseason. OU still has two spots to fill on the roster while losing four to the transfer portal so far. Those spots will likely go to more big men to add depth down low.
Not to get lost in the shuffle, Scott will also be a solid addition for the Sooners. He's spent the last six seasons at Saint Joseph's and was promoted to associate head coach in 2023.
