Sooner Nation collectively lost its mind as Ella Parker rounded the bases at Devon Park while every other college softball fan's jaw was on the floor in disbelief.
Two-time SEC Pitcher of the Year Karlyn Pickens had OU's number other than when Parker was at the plate. Parker also scored the Sooners' only other run with a solo shot in the first inning after Tennessee scored two quick runs in the opening frame.
Ailana Agbayani started the seventh with a walk, but then Pickens got the next two out before leadoff Kasidi Pickering singled up the middle to put runners on the corners with two outs and Parker up.
That was when Parker created Sooner Magic. Patty Gasso has seen a lot of miracle moments in her 31 seasons as OU's head coach, but even the eight-time national champion was hype at third base as Parker rounded and was greeted by her teammates to celebrate at home plate.
The home run set up the Red River Rivalry for 2 p.m. CT Saturday on ABC. The Sooners swept Texas during the regular season and also swept the Longhorns in last year's WCWS championship series to win a fourth straight national title. But before Sooner Nation can even think about a rivalry game two days later, there's gonna be a lot celebration to relish more Sooner Magic.

Even players who were part of an OU program that has eight national championships were in disbelief of the moment.
New OU quarterback John Mateer has only been here since January and he's already getting a good dose of Sooner Magic thanks to OU softball. Now let's hope he can create his own this fall.
