Oklahoma fans have had enough of SEC refs vs Missouri

The Tigers had some help.

Nothing brings a fan base together quite like a bad officiating crew, and like Oklahoma's alternate uniforms indicated on Saturday, Sooner Nation was certainly united as their team took on the Missouri Tigers.

The SEC crew in charge of Oklahoma-Missouri on Saturday in Norman, with the No. 8 Sooners' College Football Playoff life on the line, was simply abysmal, and OU fans made their thoughts obvious throughout the game, and so did OU head coach Brent Venables.

Refs hand Sooners worst PI call of season that fired up Brent Venables

Boos rained down at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium throughout the game as the refs missed call after call against the Sooners, and even handed OU cornerback Jacobe Johnson what was probably the worst pass interference call of the season that even unbiased onlookers disagreed with. But probably no one was madder than Venables.

That wasn't the only call that didn't go the Sooners' way either, and OU fans made their opinion clear as they were tired of the refs before the first half even concluded with a 14-3 lead for the Sooners despite the poor officiating. Venables was also ready to blow.

And not just OU fans realized it.
