Oklahoma softball concluded the fall schedule with the final Battle Series scrimmage on Thursday. As with every intersquad exhibition this season, the Sooners played one last contest where the roster was divided into three batting teams of five players.
Ice Cold Joe’s, with Ailana Agbayani, Nelly McEnroe-Marinas, Kasidi Pickering, Kai Minor and Riley Zache, won the six-inning fall finale over Joe’s Sluggers with Ella Parker, Isabela Emerling, Lexi McDaniel, Sydney Barker and Abby Dayton, and No Average Joe’s with Kendall Wells, Gabbie Garcia, Tia Milloy, Allyssa Parker and Chaney Helton.

No Average Joe’s immediately grabbed the lead with a home run to the right field by Garcia in the first inning, then Milloy followed with another run in the second inning. Their lead didn’t last long as the Ice Cold Joe’s McEnroe-Marinas launched a triple-run homer to the left field that put her team ahead by three runs.
After a scoreless third inning, Joe’s Sluggers tied Ice Cold with their own three-run shot by McDaniel. A second triple-RBI bomb by McEnroe-Marinas in the fifth inning and a single by Minor in the sixth ensured that the Ice Colds held on the lead for the rest of the game with an eight-run victory, though Emerling smacked a solo bomb that turned out to be the last run of the fall.

Although all five pitchers gave up at least one run, sophomore LHP Audrey Lowry continued her consistency in the circle by allowing the lowest number of hits at three while senior LHP Kierston Deal delivered the most strikeouts at four.
The batting lineup was led by Ella Parker and Garcia with four hits each, while Minor and McEnroe-Marinas scored the most runs at three. Ten Sooners accounted for 16 runs, and 12 players had 27 hits in total.
Now that the exhibition slate is over, OU fans can sit back and relax while the Sooners continue to prepare for the 2026 season beginning in February.
