Oklahoma's Raegan Beers, fresh of back-to-back 30-point performances, was named Naismith Trophy National Player of the Week in women's college basketball.

The Oregon State transfer scored 30 points in the Sooners' 101-81 win over Vanderbilt last week and had another 30-point game when OU defeated Arkansas 94-54 on Sunday.

The 40-point win at Arkansas was the Sooners' largest margin of victory in a conference game in more than a decade. Beers matched her career-high in points, making 12 of 14 field-goal attempts, including a career-best three 3-point field goals.

In OU's win at home over Vanderbilt, Beers became the first SEC player since Angel Reese of LSU to produce 30 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in a single game. She made 11 of 13 field-goal attempts in the contest.

For the week, the junior from Littleton, Colorado, averaged 30 points on 85.2% shooting with 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists a game.

Beers is the first Oklahoma player since Courtney Paris in 2007 to post consecutive 30-point games. Beers is a finalist for the Lisa Leslie Center of the Year Award and is on the midyear watch list as a candidate for several other national awards, including the Naismith Trophy, Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Year, Wooden Award and the Wade Trophy.

In large part because of Beer's impressive performance this past week, Oklahoma (21-6) continued its five-game winning streak and moved up three spots to No. 13 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 with one week remaining in the regular season.
