The Oklahoma women's basketball team is back on the rise thanks to a winning streak.

The Sooners climbed three spots back inside the top 15 at No. 13 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 that was released Monday afternoon. Two weeks ago, OU had hit a season low at No. 16, slipping outside the top 15 for the first time all season.

With one week and two games left of the regular season, the newest rankings assured the Sooners will take on one more top-25 opponent in No. 20 Alabama on Sunday for OU's regular-season finale in Norman.

First, though, the Sooners will travel to Gainesville to play Florida on Thursday night.

The newest AP Top 25 included seven SEC teams, with the Texas Longhorns at No. 1. OU's conference schedule this season has featured five ranked opponents already, with the Sooners going 1-4 against them. Their only ranked conference win was against Tennessee, which is now ranked ahead of OU at No. 11.

The Sooners' five-game winning streak has come against all unranked opponents, including a 94-54 beatdown of Arkansas on Sunday night. OU also thumped Vanderbilt 101-81 last week.

During the winning streak, OU has an average margin of victory of 17.6. All but one win against Auburn was by double digits.

The Sooners have had a knack for offensive explosions this season. Their 101-81 win against Vanderbilt on Thursday was the fifth time this season they reached 100 points in a game, which is the most in a single season in OU women's basketball history.
