The Oklahoma Sooners just offered the next Brady Quinn.

Quinn, a rising three-star quarterback in the 2028 class, announced an offer from OU on Monday as the Sooners offered two quarterbacks from the class on the day, including four-star Trey Tagliaferri. Quinn has a name most college football fans will immediately recognize, but, according to High School OnSI, he has no relation to the former Notre Dame quarterback. His dad, though, is a massive Fighting Irish fan, so Quinn is named after the old quarterback.

Brady Quinn announces OU offer as interest explodes

According to the 247Sports Composite, Quinn, listed at 6-foot-1, is the No. 29 quarterback in the 2028 class and No. 52 player in the state of Florida out of Chaminade-Madonna High School. Those numbers will soon soar, though, based on the caliber of schools that are now after Quinn.

Quinn, wrapping up his sophomore year, already has offers from Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ole Miss, SMU, South Carolina, West Virginia and more.

Notre Dame has also shown interest but hasn't offered yet. The Fighting Irish would likely immediately top Quinn's list considering who he's named after and that he's already taken three visits there. He also already visited Alabama in April. This will soon become a crowded race for the Sooners.

Quinn has already started for two years at First Baptist Academy before recently transferring to Chaminade-Madonna High School. Last year during the regular season, Quinn threw for 2,310 yards and 30 touchdowns, plus 259 rushing yards with three more scores. He earned an invite to the Under Armour All-American Game after the season.

The Sooners are still after their first 2028 commit and also still looking to hone in on their quarterback of the future from the class. OU offered Quinn and Tagliaferri on Monday, and also already had an offer on the table to four-star Graham Simpson from Tennessee. The Sooners have also shown interest in Norman North High School's Nash Henry, who was recently upgraded to a four-star prospect as the No. 24 QB in the class.
