Most of the college basketball world got to catch the final scene of the Jeremiah Fears show.

The 9-seed Oklahoma Sooners lost to the 8-seed UConn Huskies 67-59 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday night. Despite the loss, Fears, a freshman, stole the spotlight.

Fears led all scorers in the game with 20 points. He also added four assists, five rebounds and two steals. He turned the ball over only twice while running the point as a freshman on the biggest stage in college basketball.

Buzz about Fears on social media started early after he hit a spin move to get around a UConn defender and score on a left-handed layup.

Fears just continued to score and dish from there while college basketball fans, including Stephen A. Smith, enjoyed the show.

It was a show Sooner Nation got to enjoy all season, though. It's just unfortunate it's over now.

And with Fears a projected lottery pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, NBA fans also started to make projections and claim dibs on the future star.

Big shot called by Cayden!
