The Oklahoma Sooners are somehow still playing baseball, and even ESPN realizes college baseball fans don't want to miss an inning of this electrifying team.
Times for all eight Super Regional matchups of the NCAA Baseball Championship were announced on Tuesday morning, and the Sooners are apparently worthy of primetime every time they take the field against the No. 15 national seed Kansas Jayhawks in Lawrence. The Lawrence Super Regional was one of only three pairings to get first pitches scheduled for the evening for both Game 1 and Game 2. And the Austin Super Regional only got late games because Texas is hosting Oregon from the West Coast.
ESPN gives Sooners primetime spotlight in Lawrence Super Regional vs. Kansas
The Lawrence Super Regional will start at 5 p.m. CT Saturday on ESPN2. The two teams will then square off at the same time again on Sunday, but a channel has not been announced yet. If OU and Kansas split those two games, then there will be a Game 3 on Monday, and that time and TV slot will be announced after Monday's slate is determined.

The Sooners got to this point after a dramatic run in the Atlanta Regional that ended with them taking down No. 2 national seed Georgia Tech to move on. OU had to win three elimination games within 24 hours and string together two massive comebacks in back-to-back days to survive.
Sunday started with the Sooners beating The Citadel 15-5 to set up a rematch with Georgia Tech, which handled OU 9-3 on Saturday. It looked to be another easy win for the Yellow Jackets on Sunday when they were up 8-2 in the fourth inning, but then the Sooners scored 13 unanswered runs to force an "if necessary" game with a 15-8 win.
The theatrics peaked on Monday when the Sooners again needed a comeback while down 7-3 entering the seventh. OU chipped away and eventually sent the game to extras tied 7-7. Dayton Tockey, the first batter in the bottom of the 10th as the 8-hole, then launched a 454-foot home run over center field to walk things off and complete the unbelievable upset for OU.
All that drama and the OU brand itself has ESPN knowing the Sooners are now must-see TV this weekend as they compete to return to the College World Series in Omaha for the first time since 2022. And there should be no excuse for fans to miss the rest of OU's epic postseason run.
Meanwhile, old Big 12 foe Kansas will be after its first trip to Omaha after a spectacular season. The Jayhawks just cruised through the Lawrence Regional while going 3-0, including a pair of victories over Arkansas.
