It was a perfect weekend to cheer for the Oklahoma Sooners.

And it wasn't an easy weekend for the Sooners. Of the 10 wins, half were against ranked teams, with three coming against top-10 opponents. The baseball team upset a pair of top-10 teams, men's basketball took down a ranked Mississippi State squad and women's gymnastics notched two top-25 victories.

OU baseball started things Friday afternoon with a 3-2 win against Minnesota in the Round Rock Classic in Texas. The Sooners claimed the Round Rock Classic championship after also upsetting then-No. 7 Oregon State and then-No. 2 Virginia on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Also on Friday, OU women's gymnastics beat No. 5 Florida 198.075-196.625 in Norman. The Sooners then traveled down to Texas and beat No. 24 North Carolina 198.050-196.200 on Sunday in the Metroplex Challenge.

Saturday was the biggest day, with Sooners tallying four wins between baseball, men's basketball, softball and women's tennis. The OU men's basketball team earned the most headlines with a 93-87 upset over No. 21 Mississippi State that ended a five-game losing streak.

The softball team also shut out Tulsa 8-0 on Saturday in Norman, while the women's tennis team beat Arkansas 4-3.

The perfect weekend was finalized with four more wins on Sunday from baseball, softball, women's basketball and women's gymnastics. OU softball thumped Wichita State 8-1 before the women's basketball team wrapped up the weekend with a 94-54 beatdown against Arkansas.

With a handful of teams in action right now, 11 OU teams are currently ranked insie the top 25 of their respective sport, including men's gymnastics, women's gymnastics, softball, men's golf, men's track & field, women's track & field, women's tennis, women's basketball, baseball, wrestling and men's tennis.
