Rayshawn Duncan Jr. is getting an early jump on narrowing down his college choices and already likes the Oklahoma Sooners.
Duncan, a four-star running back in the 2027 class, on Wednesday announced via X his top 10 school choices, including OU, Utah, Syracuse, Penn State, Nebraska, Kentucky, Michigan, Purdue, Iowa and Virginia.
He also had reported offers from Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, TCU and more.

It's still early in Duncan's recruitment process after just finishing his sophomore season at Bedford High School in Ohio. Because of that, not many major recruiting services have much on Duncan yet.
Rivals, though, already lists Duncan as a four-star recruit. The site ranks him as the No. 19 running back prospect in the 2027 class and seventh-best recruit in the state of Ohio.
Duncan reportedly has unofficial visits scheduled to Syracuse, Kentucky, Georgia and Florida State during this spring, but nothing yet to Norman. He announced an offer from OU on Jan. 2.

So far, the Sooners don't have any commitments from the 2027 class yet, but it's still extremely early in the process. Edge rusher Zane Rowe had committed early last April but re-opened his recruitment in January.
The 2027 recruiting class will become more important during the upcoming high school football season during the prospects' junior campaigns. The OU coaching staff is currently more focused on the 2026 class.
The Sooners have four 2026 commitments so far, all of which are offensive players, including quarterback Jaden O'Neal, wide receiver Daniel Odom, tight end Ryder Mix and offensive lineman Will Conroy.
