The Oklahoma Sooners' 4-0 start have them making up a lot of ground on the recruiting trail.
Iowa State wide receiver commit Milan Parris is scheduled to take an official visit to Oklahoma on Saturday when the Sooners host Kent State, according to Greg Smith of Rivals, putting Parris on serious flip watch in the Sooners' favor.
Iowa State commit visiting Oklahoma this week
According to the 247Sports Composite, Parris, a four-star recruit from Stow, Ohio, is the No. 37 wide receiver in the 2026 class and No. 220 overall prospect, which would make him the highest-rated receiver in the Sooners' class if he does flip to OU.
Listed at 6-foot-5, Parris has all the intangibles and the size OU's receivers have lacked the past few seasons. According to Andrew Ivins' 247Sports scouting evaluation, Parris has one of the best size and speed combos for a receiver in the 2026 class. Parris benefits from a 6-foot-8 wingspan and 4.43 40-yard dash time, according to his X bio.
The Sooners also have 6-foot-5 three-star receiver Xavier Okwufulueze committed to their 2026 class already, so if everyone eligible to in OU's receiver room returns next season, the Sooners would have four receivers listed at 6-foot-5 or taller with Parris' addition.
Parris will also visit Miami next week, proving he's entertaining a new destination after newfound interest. Since Parris committed to Iowa State on Jan. 25, he's added offers from the likes of OU, Oregon, Nebraska, Kansas State, Auburn, Miami and more. Before then, the Cyclones were easily Parris' top option.
The Sooners already this week picked up a commitment from three-star receiver Brayden Allen, who was previously committed to Tulane. Four-star Daniel Odom had been OU's lone receiver commit since January until Okwufulueze committed early this month.
