Jalen Hurts did more than just lead the Philadelphia Eagles to Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.

With Hurts at quarterback, the Eagles handled the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the NFC Championship Game to move on to the Super Bowl to play the Kansas City Chiefs for the second time in three years.

Hurts entered the game hurt and with a brace on his left knee, which he took off right before kickoff, but that didn't slow him down at all. Hurts totalled four touchdowns with one through the air and three on the ground.

With his third rushing TD early in the fourth quarter, Hurts broke Steve Young's record for most all-time rushing TDs by a quarterback in NFL Playoffs history with nine. And Hurts will surely only expand that record in only his fifth season.

First, Hurts got into the end zone thanks to the Eagles' famous (or infamous) Tush Push to extend Philadelphia's lead to 20-12 after a failed two-point conversion with 1:44 left in the first half.

Hurts then threw a 4-yard TD pass to A.J. Brown only about a minute later to cushion the Eagles halftime lead even more.

Hurts' second rushing score was his longest of the game on a 9-yard QB draw in the third quarter.

Finally, fittingly, Hurts got into the end zone for the third time to break the record thanks to another Brotherly Shove after several attempts that had Washington defenders panicking and jumping offsides.

Thanks to Hurts and Saquon Barkley's six rushing TDs combined, the Eagles are going back to the Super Bowl. The Eagles lost to the Chiefs two years ago there, but they didn't have Barkley as a one-two punch with Hurts then.

Super Bowl LIX will be on Sunday, Feb. 9, in New Orleans.
