Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts let his Bama show against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.

Hurts, who played at Alabama before transferring to Oklahoma in college, made a one-of-a-kind play in the Eagles' 22-19 overtime loss to the Chargers on Monday, but unlike most of the times that Hurts does something to make fans say, "Wow," this had Hurts making the same kind of history as Mark Sanchez's infamous butt fumble.

Jalen Hurts throws interception and fumbles in same play

In the second quarter of the loss, Hurts became the first NFL quarterback to ever turn the ball over twice in one play. First, he threw an interception to Da'Shawn Hand, who then ran a few yards before fumbling the ball. Hurts was then right there to scoop up the fumble, but he was immediately hit and also coughed up the ball before the Chargers ultimately got the ball on their own 43-yard line.

According to Elias Sports, Hurts was the first NFL player since 1978 to have two turnovers on the same play.

For those at home fighting for a spot in fantasy football playoffs, Hurts cost fantasy players four points in that one play, with each turnover losing two points apiece, based on ESPN standard scoring. After an overall disappointing game with five turnovers, Hurts finished with a career-low 0.4 fantasy points in the biggest week of the season for some fantasy managers.

The moment, and entire night, really, was a new low for Hurts, but that still doesn't diminish him as a great player. He's the reigning Super Bowl MVP and was voted by his peers as the 19th-best player in the NFL during the offseason. Those accomplishments and more to come will someday help Hurts laugh this outing off, if he ever actually laughed or smiled.

Fans, though, immediately laughed at the unbelievable situation.

Kids and Disney adults were also able to witness Hurts' performance in the Monsters, Inc. universe as part of a special broadcast, and the monsters were not prepared for such a scary play.
