The Oklahoma men's basketball team can finally start to see the light at the end of the SEC tunnel.

The Sooners will host No. 4 Tennessee on Saturday morning for their fourth ranked opponent in a row of five straight. It will also be OU's second top-5 foe this week.

How to watch

Need to know

The Sooners really have nothing to lose on Saturday night.

The college basketball world, and even Sooner Nation, to be honest, doesn't expect OU to have a chance against Tennessee. And a loss really wouldn't hurt the Sooners' NCAA Tournament resume too bad, at least not in the short-term, even after losing to No. 1 Auburn earlier this week.

A win, though, would be monstrous for these Sooners and Porter Moser's future in Norman. A win like this would be monumental enough to swing OU in the right direction if it was still to be on the bubble come March.

In order to accomplish the upset, the Sooners can't afford a poor outing from any of their weapons, especially the dominant duo of Jalon Moore and Jeremiah Fears.

Moore leads the Sooners with 17.9 points a game from down low at forward. Up top, Fears, a freshman, is putting up 15.9 points a game.

The Sooners will also need either Brycen Goodine or Dayton Forsythe to step up and have one of the best games of their careers to contribute to Fears and Moore.

Goodine has shown what he's capable of before, scoring 34 and 24 points in two games against Texas A&M. He's been inconsistent when not playing the Aggies, though.

Coming off the bench, Forsythe, a freshman, has just recently emerged as a contributor. He's averaging just 3.3 points this season, but scored 13 and 14 points in his last two outings. Even stretching his career-high to 15 points could go a long ways Saturday, especially if it's at a time Fears goes cold.

After Tennessee, the Sooners will travel to Missouri on Wednesday for their last of five straight games against ranked teams.
