Just like in softball, it will also be Bedlam just one time this season on the baseball diamond.

The No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners will play the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a midweek meet-up on Tuesday night at O'Brate Stadium in Stillwater for the only Bedlam baseball game on the schedule this season.

Sooners, Cowboys meet for only scheduled Bedlam baseball game of season

At 25-10, the Sooners got back on track over the weekend after enduring a four-game losing streak last week. They beat then-No. 17 Vanderbilt on Friday night to end the losing streak, then again on Saturday to secure the series. OU missed out on the sweep, though, with a loss on Sunday.

OU is a different team in midweek games, though, while rotating through starters, much like most college baseball teams. The Sooners are 6-2 in midweek games this season, with both losses coming to Dallas Baptist. OU hasn't announced Tuesday night's starting pitcher yet.

Unlike the Sooners, OSU's struggles haven't ended at 16-17. The Cowboys just dropped a Big 12 series to Arizona and have won only one conference series so far this season.

Last season, OSU beat the Sooners in the Big 12 championship game in their final meeting as conference foes. Overall, OU went 1-4 against the Cowboys last year.

So even despite the Cowboys' issues this season, they've still had the Sooners' number under Josh Holliday and anything can happen during midweek college baseball games.

The Bedlam matchup was also worthy of a national audience.
