Oklahoma responded to its upset loss by jumping all over Texas A&M early and never looked back in a 77-62 win at Lloyd Noble Center on Sunday.

Raegan Beers scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Sooners before having to leave the game in the third quarter with a shoulder injury. The Oregon State transfer was later seen on the bench with an ice bag on her shoulder. The extent of the injury is unknown.

The 10th-ranked OU women (14-3, 2-2) separated themselves early, forging a 27-10 advantage over the opening 10 minutes. By halftime, the Sooners had extended the lead to 44-23. OU cruised in the second half, never leading by less than 13 points, and that was late in the final quarter.

Sahara Williams had 11 points for the Sooners, and Reyna Scott added 11 off the bench. Oklahoma held the Aggies to just 26.9% shooting for the game.

Oklahoma will next be in action on Thursday, when it hosts longtime Big 12 foe Missouri at Lloyd Noble Center.

1. Sooners shoot 60% in first-quarter blitzkrieg

The Sooners shot a blistering 60% in the first 10 minutes of the game, hitting 9 of 15 field-goal attempts, including a pair of 3-pointers by Sahara Williams. Raegan Beers scored 10 of her game-high 16 points in the first quarter. She played just 12 minutes in the game before leaving the game with an injury.

2. OU scores first 5 points, never trailed after that

Oklahoma scored the first five points in the game and never trailed thereafter. That advantage had grown to 23 points by the second quarter, the Sooners' widest margin of the game.

3. Turnover problems persist

As convincing as the final outcome was, it wasn't a perfect game for Oklahoma. Turnover problems persist. The Sooners committed 18 against Texas A&M, and the Aggies cashed those miscues in for 15 points. OU is averaging 19.1 turnovers per game, which ranks 317th in Division-I college basketball.
