For the last time in 2025, the Oklahoma Sooners have an SEC weekend series. And it's another big one.
The No. 1 Sooners will finish the college softball regular season with a trip to the No. 7 Florida Gators this weekend for OU's fourth top-10 series showdown of the season.
Heading into the final week of the regular season, three teams are still in contention for the SEC regular-season title, with the Sooners leading the way. OU can clinch the crown and the 1-seed for the SEC Softball Tournament in its first season in the conference with a series win over the Gators.
If the Sooners drop the series, then Tennessee and Texas A&M still have a shot while playing each other in Knoxville.
OU and the Gators will start things earlier than usual on Thursday night. That means the Sooners could be celebrating a regular-season conference title on Friday or Saturday, with Saturday's game getting a national audience.
