Duke Miles' college basketball journey has been obscure even by today's standards.
Joe Tipton of On3 reported Monday that Miles, who played for the Oklahoma Sooners last season, has committed to the Vanderbilt Commodores after a circus of decisions this offseason since transferring from OU.

Duke Miles commits to Vanderbilt after leaving Sooners
Miles was the only starter the Sooners lost to the transfer portal after the season ended. He started every game this season for the Sooners while averaging 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and two assists.
Just five days after Miles' name was officially in the transfer portal, Tipton reported that Miles was headed to Virginia as his presumed final college destination.
That didn't last long, though. Only four days later, Miles changed plans again and decommitted from Virginia. Miles then decided to stay inside the SEC and chose the Texas A&M Aggies. He even announced his decision on social media and signed a National Letter of Intent. But in a matter of days from inking the deal, he requested his release and was back in the portal for the third time since March.
That's then how Miles ultimately landed at Vanderbilt as his third destination just of this offseason and sixth overall in his entire career.
Miles got to OU last year after one season at High Point. Before that, he spent three years at Troy. The most mind-boggling part of Miles' winding college road is that it hasn't hit a dead end yet.
Already a redshirt senior last season, next season won't only bring Miles' sixth destination, but also his sixth year of college basketball. Outside of his redshirt year, Miles has never played less than 17 games in a season, surpassing 20 games every other season. That means, theoretically, last season should had been Miles' last hoorah, and he even participated in Senior Day at OU.
