Oklahoma softball opened the 2025 fall exhibition series in front of 2,351 fans at Love's Field on Friday as the team played its first intersquad Battle Series game.

In the nine-inning, three-team face-off among the 2026 Sooners, the veteran-stacked Team 3 with Ella Parker, Nelly McEnroe-Marinas, Ailana Agbayani, Isabela Emerling and Chaney Helton grabbed the victories over Team 1, which included Kai Minor, Kasidi Pickering, Sydney Parker, Lexi McDaniel and Riley Zache and Team 2 with Allyssa Parker, Gabbie Garcia, Kendall Wells, Tia Milloy and Abby Dayton.

Seven newcomers took the field in their first home outing, including transfer pitchers sophomore Miali Guachino and senior Sydney Berzon, and freshman Allyssa Parker, the only two-way player on the mound during the scrimmage.

The first inning had senior RHP Kierston Deal and Berzon ensuring no runs from any team to start the game. That changed in the second when Pickering hit a double and scored Zache the first run for Team 1.

Berkley Zache entered the circle in the third inning, which resulted in sibling-on-sibling action in the next frame when Riley Zache homered off her sister’s glove for another run. Garcia took advantage of an error by Pickering, which gave Milloy the first run for Team 2.

After trailing the other two teams for the past five innings, Team 3 in the sixth found relief from another Pickering error that allowed Agbayani to put them on the board.

The climax came in the seventh inning where Barker, Wells and Garcia each hit a bomb, with Wells' putting Team 2 in the lead. While the other two teams did not score any further runs, Team 3 pulled ahead with twin double RBIs by Parker and Agbayani in the ninth inning, ending the game as the winning squad.

Guachino and sophomore LHP Audrey Lowry struck the most batters out with four each, while Deal was the only pitcher to not give up a run.

Parker and Agbayani led the batting lineup with three hits at the plate, while the Sooners scored 12 total runs throughout the night.

Oklahoma softball will be on the road for the next fall ball game against East Texas A&M on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT in Commerce, Texas.
