Oklahoma has an average team score of 197.783 through three meets, which was good enough to replace Florida and take over the No. 1 spot.
LSU (197.467), the only other team this season to achieve a 198 score, is the new No. 2 team nationally, according to Gymnastics Now. Alabama and Florida, both tied at No. 3 with a 197.417, and UCLA (197.181) rounded out this week's top five. Georgia dropped to No. 8 this week after losing to Oklahoma.
Oklahoma also ranks No. 1 as a team on both vault and beam, with average scores of 49.517 and 49.550, respectively. The Sooners rank in the top five nationally in the two other events: No. 4 on bars (49.350) and No, 5 in floor exercise (49.367).
Sophomores Lily Pederson and Addison Fatta rank 15th and 16th, respectively, in the country in the all-around. Fatta also holds the No. 7 spot on vault (9.908) and ranks 13th on beam (9.900).
Sooner freshman Mackenzie Estep, named SEC Freshman of the Week this week, leads the team with a national individual ranking in all three events in which she competes. She ranks No. 2 on vault with a three-meet average of 9.333, No. 9 on floor (9.908) and No. 19 on bars (9.883).
