It's not just Sooner Nation that loves Danny Stutsman.

Popular X account, @CollegeFBonX, put out a poll for fans to vote for America's Favorite College Football Player. The competition started with 500 players, then was cut to 128 between two different brackets, and is now down to just two players: Oklahoma linebacker Danny Stutsman and South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers.

You can vote for Stutsman to be named America's Favorite College Football Player by commenting on the post below or liking the Stutsman post below that. Voting will end at 4 p.m. CT Wednesday.

Stutsman just finished up his four-year career at Oklahoma and is now headed to the NFL. He could have chosen to leave a year earlier for the NFL, but instead chose to return to Norman for the Sooners' first season in the SEC. That was enough to win the hearts of Sooner Nation, if he hadn't already.

Stutsman played in 47 college football games and started 37 while becoming an All-American and a Butkus Award finalist this season. He flies around the field, tallying 376 tackles in his career, but his personality off the field is what has won over not only Sooner Nation, but apparently the entire nation.

America hates Texas, not just Oklahoma, so college football fans everywhere loved when Stutsman did things like walk off the bus to walk into Cotton Bowl Stadium with a gold Horns Down necklace around his neck and flash Horns Down whenever necessary (or not).

There were even famous t-shirts made after Stutsman helped will the Sooners to a win over Texas in 2023 that featured his famous quote, "Oklahoma only fears God. Texas fears Oklahoma."

Stutsman also donated $50,000 of his own NIL earnings to walk-ons at OU.

There's no need to go into detail about Sellers, because he just throws a football and isn't as cool as Stutsman, who already beat out Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson to become a finalist.
