The Oklahoma Sooners have maybe their most important game of the season this week when they host the Michigan Wolverines for a top-20 matchup between two blue bloods.

The No. 18 Sooners and No. 15 Wolverines will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday with the primetime slot on ABC. The tricky part for Sooner Nation, though, will be passing the time until that late kickoff with a college football slate that's certainly lacking.

ESPN College GameDay will be must-watch TV for Sooner Nation, but here some more suggestions to buy time until kickoff after that.

ESPN College GameDay

When: 9 a.m. CT Saturday
Watch: ESPN

ESPN College GameDay will start a new era for the show in Norman. College football legend Lee Corso had his final show last week, so this will be the first chance to see what College GameDay is like without Corso and his headgear pick. Plus, it's on OU's campus and should include a guest picker Sooner Nation will want to hear from.

San Jose State at No. 7 Texas

When: 11 a.m. CT Saturday
Watch: ABC

It might be better to get a nap in during the early slot of games, but if not, it could be worth your time hate watching Texas and seeing if Arch Manning looks any better.

Oklahoma State at No. 6 Oregon

When: 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday
Watch: CBS

This had the makings of a marquee matchup a few years ago, but the Cowboys have fallen and will be without their starting quarterback, influencing a whopping 28.5-point spread. Regardless, it's worth watching the other in-state Power Four program until it gets out of hand, plus there are a few former Sooners to look out for. Mike Gundy and Dan Lanning have also made it a juicier matchup with their comments this week.

No. 20 Ole Miss at Kentucky

When: 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday
Watch: ABC

This will be the first SEC matchup of the 2025 college football. Kentucky is awful, though, but it's still a good look at Ole Miss, which the Sooners eventually host this season.

Kansas at Missouri

When: 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday
Watch: ESPN2

These two programs really want the rest of us to care about their rivalry. Missouri in general is just desperate for a relevant rival, continually trying to force Oklahoma as a rival like a nat the Sooners keep swatting away. But at least this matchup includes an old Big 12 foe and a team ahead on OU's SEC schedule to pass some time during the afternoon.

South Florida at No. 13 Florida

When: 3:15 p.m. CT Saturday
Watch: SEC Network

Florida seems to be a legitimate contender for what is apparently a wide-open SEC. And South Florida won't go down easy after bulldozing Boise State last week.

This game will eventually run into Oklahoma's, though, and after that, you might as well go to bed or stay up reading all our content.
