There will be more Oklahoma Sooners than anything else at Super Bowl LIX.

Eight former OU players will compete on Super Bowl Sunday when the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs meet in New Orleans for the second time in three years.

OU has more former players playing in the Super Bowl than any other college football program. And it's the third year in a row there have been more Sooners than anything else in the Super Bowl.

The Sooners have been well-represented in the Super Bowl recently because of the Chiefs' run of three straight Super Bowl appearances and back-to-back championships. This season, Kansas City's roster includes six Sooners, which was the most from any team that made the NFL Playoffs.

The Eagles have only two Sooners, but they're major contributors in Pro Bowl offensive lineman Lane Johnson and starting quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Hurts on Sunday could become the first OU quarterback to finish his career as a Sooner to win a Super Bowl.

Here's a look at every Sooner that will be active on Sunday and how to watch.

  • Hollywood Brown (WR)
  • Creed Humphrey (OL)
  • McKade Mettauer (OL)
