The Oklahoma Sooners' 2026 recruiting class already benefitted from Penn State firing its head coach, and now OU could also profit from the Nittany Lions' biggest rival.
The Michigan Wolverines on Wednesday fired head coach Sherrone Moore, a former OU player, in what's unraveled to be a chaotic situation. Much like what's unfolded at Iowa State since Matt Campbell left to take the Penn State job after the Early Signing Period was already over, recent signees to Michigan could soon start getting out of their commitment and look elsewhere, which is when the Sooners can swoop in to bolster their own class.
The Sooners actually already have connections and offers extended to a few Michigan signees, but even if not, this cycle has proven how quickly the Sooners can win over recruits and flip them. Considering Michigan had 27 signees to make up the No. 11 class in the country, there should be plenty of talent to vulture, especially these three.
Listed as a cornerback and safety, four-star Andre Clarke Jr. already opened the door to the possibility of ending up somewhere new. He's the only one on this list without an OU offer previously, but it's clear he can still be recruited.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Clarke is the No. 21 cornerback in the class. The Sooners signed just one corner from the class so far in Derrick Johnson II, who is ranked No. 35 at the position.

Four-star defensive lineman Titan Davis already has an OU offer and is from St. Louis, Missouri, where the Sooners regularly get talent from. According to the 247Sports Composite, Davis is the No. 13 defensive lineman in the class and No. 2 overall prospect in the state. He would by far become the highest-rated interior defensive lineman of the Sooners' 2026 class and join of the best defensive fronts in the country.
Like Davis, four-star safety Jordan Deck also already has an OU offer and comes from a hotbed of talent the Sooners love to visit in Frisco, Texas. Deck is the No. 30 safety in the class, according to the 247Sports Composite. Although the Sooners already signed a pair of safeties, Deck would still be their highest-ranked player at the position.
