Oklahoma football has dominated its 117-year series with cross-state rival Oklahoma State. The Sooners 91 wins and .808 winning percentage are OU’s most against any one opponent and tied for the most in FBS history against a single opponent.

Although OU’s dominance has continued into the new century, the past 20-plus seasons have seen some of the best and most dramatic games in the century-plus rivalry series. The Sooners are currently tied with Nebraska for the most wins against one opponent (91 vs. Kansas), and one more against the Cowboys would give Oklahoma the outright record.

The Sooners are looking to book end the Bedlam rivalry series with the hated Cowboys similar to the way the series started. The rivalry series with Oklahoma State started in 1904. The first game was actually played in Guthrie, Oklahoma, with OU winning 76-0. The Sooners won the first 11 games in the series, and OSU didn’t score a single point until the ninth game.

Oklahoma went 17-2-1 in the first 20 games in the series, and the Sooners are 17-3 in the past 20 games against their in-state rival.
