3. Junior wide receiver Jalil Farooq

Jalil Farooq is one of the holdovers from the Lincoln Riley era at OU and he has been one of the prime receiving targets for Dillon Gabriel this season. He will become even more so now with Andrel Anthony lost for the remainder of the year.

Farooq has 20 catches for 415 yards this season and a couple of touchdown receptions. He also is the primary kickoff returner for the Sooners. Like a number of Oklahoma players, Farooq may have had his best game this season last Saturday, when he had five catches for a career-high 130 yards. That was his second 100-yard receiving game this season. He pulled in six receptions for 126 yards in OU’s win at Tulsa earlier in the season.
