5. Redshirt freshman WR Nic Anderson

Nic Anderson has only 11 catches this season but five of them have gone for touchdowns, including the game-winning TD reception against Texas with 15 seconds remaining in the game to enable the Sooners dramatic come-from-behind win. The game-winner against the Longhorns was the only ball thrown to Anderson in the game.

The 6-foot, 4-inch wide receiver is the younger brother of former Sooner star running back Rodney Anderson. This is his first full season in an Oklahoma uniform, having missed all of last season with a soft-tissue injury.

Anderson’s best game this season was a three-touchdown day in the 66-17 win over Tulsa. He caught three passes that day for 120 yards. He leads Oklahoma receivers with an average of 25,6 yards per reception.
