6. Sophomore defensive back Gentry Williams

Gentry Williams is a big reason for the improved play of the Oklahoma secondary this season. The Tulsa native has been all over the field for the Sooner defense. He’s been a ball hawk, collecting three interceptions to lead the team in addition to a fumble recovery, and strong in run and screen pass support.

A first-time starter this season, Williams has 22 tackles to his credit so far this season, 15 of the solo variety, and four tackles for loss.
