3. @ Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Nov. 4

The 2023 Oklahoma football schedule is heavily backloaded with three of what could be the Sooners’ most difficult challenges of the season, and it starts off with Bedlam on Nov. 4. This could be the final Bedlam football game in quite some time, and it’s being played in Stillwater, where Cowboy fans and the Cowboys themselves would like nothing better than to send the Sooners off to the SEC with a big kick in the hind end.

The problem is, Oklahoma State is not expected to be as good this season as in the past few years (picked to finish 7th by the media in this year’s Preseason Big 12 Football Poll), and Oklahoma has done most of the butt-kicking in this series, posting an 18-5 record since 2000, including 9-2 in games played in Stillwater over that time.

A number of national and local experts are predicting that this is one of the games Oklahoma will lose this season. I think otherwise. I believe the Sooners will be the one sending the message in what could be the final Bedlam football game.
