4. @ BYU in Provo, Utah, Nov. 18
The week before Oklahoma finishes the regular season at home against TCU, the Sooners travel to Provo, Utah, for a contest against BYU, one of the four new schools to join the Big 12 this season. Oklahoma has never played at BYU before, which is always a tough venue for visiting teams. What effect the 4,500 feet above sea level will have on the Sooners remains to be seen, but OU is 0-2 against BYU all-time. Both of those games were played on neutral fields.
Poor defensive play was the Achilles heel of both teams a year ago. Both offensive units, however, averaged right at 32 points a game. The team that performs the best on offense will probably come away with the win, and this could be a big momentum builder as the Sooners get set to finish out the season at home against TCU with a potential second place in the standings on the line and a spot in the Big 12 Championship.
