Geno battled Summitt for years and now ultimately has her beat. He has long led the most dominant Women’s basketball program the NCAA has or ever will see. The UCONN Huskies have long been the perennial power of Women’s basketball, and it’s all been led by Geno.

Geno has a career record of 1,180-156… that’s an 88-percent winning percentage since he took over in 1985! His Lady Huskies have been to 22 Final Fours and won an astounding 11 NCAA National Championships. The teams he has led have accomplished undefeated seasons six times, and they’ve produced some of the most famous names in the WNBA.

Coach Auriemma is still coaching, and that’s a scary thought. His undoubted reign of dominance may be over due to the recent program ascension of teams like South Carolina and LSU. Still, his winning ways are far from being concluded. Geno’s Huskies will keep winning, and he will stretch his already unreachable winning record even further.

So, what do you think? Can Gasso top Auriemma on the list?
