50 wins… 3 losses. That is the mark to beat if you want to be named ‘The Winningest Quarterback in College Football History.” Kellen Moore owns that title.

Moore quarterbacked the unknown Boise State Broncos from 2008 to 2011, where he arguably led the most dominant career a quarterback has ever had. He finished his career in Boise with 14,667 yards for 142 touchdowns.

Kellen was named his conference’s player of the year three times (2x in the WAC and 1x in the MWC). Moore also led Boise State to 4 bowl wins, including a BCS Fiesta Bowl against TCU.

Moore won the Touchdown Club of Columbus’ Quarterback of the Year Award twice, and in 2012, the club renamed it the ‘Kellen Moore Award.’ He is the only player on this list to have a national award named in his honor.

Yeah, but he played at Boise! He wouldn’t have done that good if he had been at a bigger school! Boise is a small school!… I’ve heard it before. Don’t worry, Power 5 purists… your schools aren’t going anywhere. He did what he did with what he had. Capitalizing on your situation is what quarterbacking is all about, and no player, before or since, did it as good as he did.

Oh, and Sooner fans, don’t get mad at me! This isn’t the guy who ran the Statue of Liberty… Calm down.
